How does saving + multi-device work?
- Cloud sync (your unlock code = your account): as long as your code is entered on a device, every save also pushes a small encrypted-in-transit copy of your shifts to a record tied to your code. Enter the same code on your phone or work computer and we pull it back down — no separate login, no password.
- Conflict prompt: if two devices both made edits, we ask which copy to keep before overwriting either. Never silent.
- Export / Import (offline backup): one-click JSON file you can email yourself, drop in iCloud/Google Drive, or paste into a password manager note. Useful if you want a frozen snapshot of last Tuesday's shift.
- Local fallback: if the sync server is unreachable, your data stays saved on the device just like before. Sync retries automatically on the next save.
- Capacity: comfortably handles up to 20 nurses and 35+ patients per shift, plus today + tomorrow side by side.
- Your shifts stay saved on this device. Account-based cloud sync across devices returns when sign-in launches.
- How you get your code: emailed instantly after purchase. Save it in a password manager so you can enter it on any device.
How acuity is ranked (1–5 scale, AACN Synergy-inspired)
- 1 — Stable · independent, awaiting DC, minimal interventions, oral meds, simple dressing.
- 2 — Low · q4 vitals, 1–2 IV meds, ambulating with help, no drips, no telemetry concern.
- 3 — Moderate · q4 vitals + assessments, multiple IV meds, telemetry/tele box, recent change in condition.
- 4 — High · q2 vitals, titratable drips OR fresh post-op OR new admission, 1:1 attention bursts.
- 5 — Critical · ICU transfer pending, multiple pressors, isolation + complex care, family in crisis, end-of-life.
This is a workload-acuity scale for planning assignments, not an EMR-validated patient classification. Your facility may use a different scale (e.g., proprietary RN-to-patient ratio tools). Adjust the legend on paper if needed — the underlying 1–5 numbers still balance correctly.
Cloud sync: off
Comfortably handles up to 20 nurses and 35+ patients per shift. Cloud sync uses your unlock code so your shifts follow you to any device. How does sync work?
